Defining the Winter Season: Where to Be Seen

Published on October 15, 2025

From the slopes of Courchevel to the private islands of the Maldives, we curate the ultimate winter itinerary for the elite traveler.

As the autumn leaves fall, the global elite turn their gaze towards the winter season. This year, the trends are diverging sharply between the traditional snowy peaks of Europe and the secluded tropical escapes of the Indian Ocean. At 66 Elite, we have curated a definitive guide for our members on where to be seen—or where to disappear completely—this coming season.

The Slopes: Courchevel 1850

Courchevel remains the undisputed king of the Alps, offering a perfect blend of world-class skiing and high-octane glamour. This season, the village sees the unveiling of several ultra-private chalets that redefine luxury.

Where to Stay

Cheval Blanc Courchevel: The Maison continues to set the standard. We recommend the 'Appartement,' spanning the top two floors with direct slope access. Alternatively, for total privacy, we have secured exclusive access to three new off-market chalets in the Jardin Alpin sector, complete with private cinemas, swimming pools, and Michelin-trained chefs.

The Table

Le 1947 at Cheval Blanc: The only three-Michelin-star restaurant in Courchevel. It is intimate, serving only a handful of guests per night. Advance booking (months out) is essential, but our members have priority access.

Bagatelle Courchevel: For a lunch that turns into a party. Located at the top of the Loze lift, the atmosphere is electric with live DJs and table-dancing, accompanied by truffle pizza and magnums of Dom Pérignon.

After Dark

Les Caves de Courchevel: The legendary nightclub remains the place to end the night. Expect to rub shoulders with royalty and celebrities. The VIP tables overlooking the dance floor are the only ones to have.

The Sun: St. Barths

For those seeking warmth, St. Barths is seeing a massive resurgence. The island combines French chic with Caribbean soul.

The Experience

We recommend booking your yacht charters now for the New Year's Eve regatta. The harbour in Gustavia is the place to be at midnight, watching the fireworks from the aft deck of a superyacht. 66 Elite can secure prime berths for vessels up to 80 meters.

Insider Tip

Skip the main beach at Nikki Beach on peak days. Instead, let us arrange a private tender to whisk you away to Colombier Beach, accessible only by boat or a long hike, for a fully catered picnic in total seclusion.
