Centre Court Royalty: The Wimbledon Experience
Published on July 14, 2025
Strawberries, cream, and the Royal Box. A look back at a thrilling fortnight of tennis at SW19.
There are sporting events, and then there is Wimbledon. The 2025 Championships delivered drama and decorum in equal measure. It is the only Grand Slam that retains a strict dress code and a sense of English garden party etiquette.
The Debenture Experience
Our members enjoyed the finals from the comfort of the debenture seats—the only tickets that can be legally bought and sold. Located on the same level as the Royal Box, they offer the best views in the house.
Hospitality Highlights
The Gatsby Club: Located just across the road, this facility offers a sanctuary from the crowds. With menus designed by Albert Roux's proteges, it is fine dining of the highest order. We successfully facilitated three major corporate mergers over champagne here this year.
The Skyview Suites: Inside Centre Court, these suites are the pinnacle of tennis hospitality. Private balconies, chauffeur service, and vintage Lanson champagne on arrival. It is the way to see and be seen.
Where to Stay
The Rosewood London: While many choose to stay in Wimbledon village, we recommend staying central. The Rosewood offers a dedicated Wimbledon package with luxury transfers. The Scarfes Bar is the perfect place to debrief after the match.
Insider Tip
Don't rush to leave after the final point. The debenture lounges remain open. Let the crowds disperse while you enjoy a Pimm's and watch the sun lower over the London skyline. We can arrange a private car pickup from the secret exit on Somerset Road to avoid the main queues.
