Monaco Yacht Show 2025: A Review of Maritime Excellence

Published on September 28, 2025

Sustainability meets unparalleled luxury. We review the stand-out vessels from this year's show in Port Hercules.

The 2025 Monaco Yacht Show has concluded, leaving a wake of innovation and opulence in Port Hercules. This year, the focus was undeniably on eco-conscious superyachts that refuse to compromise on luxury. The industry is shifting, driven by owners who demand sustainability without sacrificing silence, range, or comfort.

The Star of the Show: 'Oceanus'

The 85-meter hybrid vessel 'Oceanus' stole the spotlight. Built by a Dutch shipyard known for excellence, it features a silent electric cruising mode perfect for the protected waters of the Mediterranean. 66 Elite members were treated to a private sunset cocktail reception aboard, inspecting the master suite's panoramic ocean views and the beach club that expands to create a sea-level lounge.

The Social Scene

Monaco is as much about the parties as the yachts. The highlight this year was the gala dinner at the Yacht Club de Monaco, presided over by HSH Prince Albert II.

Where We Dined

Le Louis XV - Alain Ducasse: Still the pinnacle of Monegasque dining. We hosted a private dinner for 12 members in the aquarium room, celebrating a new acquisition.

Cipriani Monte Carlo: The energy here is unmatched during the show. It is the unofficial clubhouse for brokers and buyers alike. The vanilla meringue cake remains a non-negotiable order.

Top Tip for Buyers

The market is stabilizing. While listing prices remain high, there is room for negotiation on vessels in the 40-60 meter range. Our brokerage partners suggest that now is the time to buy for the 2026 Caribbean season.

The Future of Charter

We noticed a surge in explorer yachts. Clients are looking beyond the Mediterranean. Vessels equipped with submarines, helipads, and ice-class hulls are in high demand for expeditions to Antarctica and the Northwest Passage. 66 Elite has added three such vessels to our central agency charter fleet.
